Diarreah, German “Customer Service”, and Bahrainian Whore Houses

For inquiring minds who want to know how our trip to Jordan went, that title pretty much sums it up…

Not enough info?

Well, I still have diarreah from the two bites of airplane food (I use that term loosly) I ate.  German’s are the roohoodest people on the plantet.  Especially those in any service sector.  AVOID GERMANY AT ALL COSTS!  Conversation at the Frankfurt Airport:

Me to Girl at Customer Service Counter: “Where can I find out my gate information for my flight to Bahrain?”

CS Girl: “Why don’t you look on the board”

Me: “My flight information isn’t on the board. My flight leaves at 11 am; the flights on the board only go up to 8:30″

CSG: “Well how would I know your gate information if it isn’t on the board?”

Me: “Do you work here?”

CSG: Silent stare.

Me: “Could you call someone who can tell me my gate info?”
CSG : Silent stare.

Me: “Excuse me?”

CSG: Silent stare….

Finally…

CSG: “Why don’t you go check the board?”

Tried 3 more people in airport uniforms, and almost missed my plane.

In Bahrain I stayed in a 5 star hotel with an ocean front view courtesy of Gulf Air… my only regret is that I wasn’t told about the girls lying around in their underwear on their beds with their doors wide open, or the friendly invitations from anonymous callers to join them in their rooms at 3 in the morning.  Had I been informed, I might have polightly declined accomodations.
